Photography services are creative, time-sensitive, and customized to each client. Unlike physical products, photography services involve reserving specific dates, planning sessions, and delivering creative work. This policy reflects the unique nature of professional photography services.
Booking Deposits
When you book a photography session:
- A deposit is required to secure your session date and time
- Deposits are typically non-refundable as they reserve our time and prevent us from booking other clients
- Deposits may be applied to rescheduled sessions if notice is provided according to our cancellation policy
- The deposit amount varies depending on the service package selected
Cancellation Policy
Client-Initiated Cancellations
If you need to cancel your photography session:
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled session receive a full refund minus the deposit
- Cancellations made 7-14 days before the session receive a 50% refund of payments made beyond the deposit
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the session result in forfeiture of all payments
- Emergency circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis
Photographer-Initiated Cancellations
If we need to cancel your session due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances:
- We will notify you as soon as possible
- You will receive a full refund of all payments made
- Alternatively, we can reschedule your session at no additional cost
- We are not liable for any additional costs or damages resulting from the cancellation
Rescheduling Policy
We understand that plans change. Our rescheduling policy is:
- First rescheduling request with at least 48 hours notice is free of charge
- Additional rescheduling requests may incur a rescheduling fee
- Rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice may result in forfeiture of deposit
- Sessions must be rescheduled within one year of the original booking date
Weather-Related Cancellations
For outdoor photography sessions:
- If severe weather makes the session unsafe or impractical, we will work with you to reschedule at no additional cost
- Light rain or overcast conditions can create beautiful photography and sessions typically proceed
- The final decision regarding weather conditions rests with the photographer
- Alternative indoor locations may be suggested when possible
Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our work:
- If you are not satisfied with your final edited images, we will work with you to address your concerns
- Minor adjustments and edits are included at no additional charge
- Significant re-editing requests may be subject to additional fees
- We cannot provide refunds based on subjective preferences that differ from the agreed-upon style
- Technical issues with image quality will be addressed promptly and may result in a partial refund or reshoots
Digital Product Delivery
Regarding digital image delivery:
- Once digital images are delivered and accessed, they cannot be returned or refunded
- You are responsible for downloading and backing up your images upon delivery
- We maintain online galleries for a limited time as specified in your package
- Re-delivery of images after the gallery expiration period may incur a fee
Print Products and Physical Goods
If you purchase print products or albums through us:
- Defective or damaged products will be replaced at no cost
- Quality concerns must be reported within 14 days of delivery
- Custom products cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect
- Proof approval is your responsibility; we are not liable for errors you approved
No-Show Policy
If you fail to appear for your scheduled session:
- All payments including deposit are forfeited
- No refund or rescheduling is available for no-shows
- If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, it may be considered a no-show
- Emergency situations will be considered with appropriate documentation
Refund Processing
When refunds are approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Processing fees may be deducted from the refund amount
- You will receive confirmation once the refund has been processed
Disputes and Resolution
If you have concerns about our services or this policy:

- We will work in good faith to reach a fair resolution
